Since last report, fishing has included some good days and some slow ,the walleyes have been on the smaller side. Have still been spending a lot of time in the 12-17' deeper wood and edges of river channels. An interesting side note, been catching bluegills most places we're fishing including the deeper wood, haven't fished any cribs lately where you expect to catch summer bluegills, the gill population seems to be increasing, nice to see. Also catching some fish in 8-10 stumps and submerged bog.

On sept4 fishing with Joe and Clint we had one of the slowest walleye days of the year after a full day of fishing we had 5 walleyes and some perch and bluegills in the live well. We did have a lot of action from small fish, went thru 7 doz. crawlers and a couple doz. leeches had a lot of fun, they didn't think the fishing was too bad. Even on the slow days a catch for a fish fry seems to accumulate in the livewell.

Have been doing best on crawlers although I talked to one of the best local fisherman who said he has been having good luck on fatheads. Soon will be fishing exclusively with minnows, the water temp is still around 71.

The best walleye fishing is just around the corner, late sept. thru all of Oct. Combine the best walleye fishing with grouse, duck,or bow hunting and take in the beautiful fall scenery.

Thank you to everyone who chose my guide service as always had a lot of fun.
