FISHING REPORT

Conditions: Sunny
Some days you get lucky, Monday customers and I dropped in on 14 walleyes on our first spot, they came from a very tight area in 7', fatheads over slip bobbers, lot of nice fish mostly 15-17". That takes a lot of pressure off of shore lunch. I asked Adam and Paul what they wanted to do (from Colorado and Texas) they said catch other kinds of fish. That we did ,7 species, yes those are bullheads on the left side of the stringer. We fished some shorelines and caught smallmouth, they are coming in shallow, we stayed in water less then 8' lot of the fish we caught were relating to wood structure.

Tuesday was the opposite kind of day. My three fisherman had a lot of fun we had some action most of the day, some decent bass but mostly smaller walleyes. By the end of the day we had a limit of decent walleyes some perch, and rock bass, we released our biggest walleye 19 1/2". Not much luck involved in consistently catching limits you have to grind through a lot of good spots on tough days . Best fish came from an 8'flat with wood cover, a small hump with wood and we did get some fish on rocks in 8'.

Today the fish Gods were looking our way again, second spot, lot of walleye and nice perch mixed in. J.D, Jim and Jimmy from Florida only wanted to keep enough for shore lunch so we released the rest. The fish were in 5' with good wood cover, slip bobbers and extra large fat heads for both the walleye and the perch. We did get some fish on leeches didn't try crawlers.

Once shore lunch is in the box I am wide open to time spent on the flowage. I showed my customers a less travelled part of the flowage we enjoyed a fine cigar and a leisurely drive to as far south as you can drive a motor boat down beaver creek. J.D who has fished the TFF for 51 years really enjoyed the ride.

It was an awesome last three days really enjoyed the company.

For the LL readers who just want the quick fishing facts I guess you'll have to tune me out or suffer through the narrative.
