Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 61° - 65° F Water Temp: 61° - 65° F
Fishing has been very good most days.Did have a slow day tue. with no wind and 80* we ate good at lunch, perch, walleyes and a pike, the rest of the day smaller fish.

The last two days I fished with client Jeff, Thur with the 30 mph winds and cold front, contrary to a cold front in May the fish really turned on. We estimated around 40 walleyes most 15-17" our biggest was 19". We caught nice smallmouths also, had a big Musky on a half crawler hooked in the lip, almost had him in the net him but couldn't control him with the 7' lite rod he got around the motor, gone, was exciting!

We saw one other boat off in the distance the entire day, had some great fishing. Two Navy anchors and 100' of rope.

Yesterday more good walleye fishing more like normal had to look a little harder but had a nice catch of walleyes.

Been fishing walleyes in mostly shallow 4-8' still taking x-lg-fatheads some days have done better on minnows they do require care in the warm weather.

We are catching smallmouths while walleye fishing, when we looked specifically for smallmouths we found them on rocky shorelines tight to shore out to around 8'.

Enjoy the fishing.
