Did fish several spots today with no fish but at days end solo customer Mike (On his 58th birthday) and I had caught a lot of walleyes and smb, locations similar to last couple posts.Smb caught on both crawlers and x-large fatheads kept one 15" released a lot of 13-14" and biggest 17-1/2". For me these are the best days of the year, rivaled only by fresh snow and perfect tracking conditions in November(deer). Turnover, not sure, 55* today have caught walleyes down to 27'within the last four or five days. With the diversity on the flowage, may flys, turnover, there always seems to be places to come up with fish. Enjoy the best time of the year to be on the tff, for those who can't here's a couple pics which are pretty lame compared to the real thing but here's to trying. |
