I wanted to follow up with an update. First off, Joey and I cannot thank you enough for a great day on Friday fishing and for the invaluable tips for fishing these waters! We learned a ton! What a great experience! Joey ended up netting two hog smallies on Saturday and laying into 3 more on Sunday morning (although we did not net any on Sunday). The last 4 hogs (1 late Saturday and 3 Sunday) were all at the "V" structure by long island. All 5 hogs were on deadsticks! The most action was on the north side of the V even with the end of the structure away from the island about 10 feet north. Hit after hit there, all smallies! As far as not netting 3, one got off under the boat, one got into the tree and snapped the line and one was set marginally and snuck off. Oh well, that happens!

All in all, we had a ton of action both days and landed 35 - 40 fish total. Not quite as productive as with you, but for us, those are great numbers. Attached are the two hogs from Saturday. I will send more later. We do plan on making this an annual trip and will start with you again on the first day if that is OK with you. We really enjoyed both your guiding skills and your hospitality. We both feel like we now have a friend up at the Flowage.
